“Was ist Kunst, IRWIN?” Magazine presentation at Frankfurter Buchmesse

The 75th Frankfurter Buchmesse takes place from 18 – 22 October. This year‘s Guest of Honour is Slovenia, which is presenting itself under the motto ”Honeycombs of Words“. On this occasion, Dr. Inke Arns (Director HMKV, Curator), Thibaut de Ruyter (Curator) and Miran Mohar (IRWIN) will present the magazine of the current HMKV exhibition Was ist Kunst, IRWIN? in the pavilion of the Guest of Honour (Stand Forum Level 1/A1) on Wednesday, 18 October 2023 at 13:00.
In addition to new essays by Inke Arns and Thibaut de Ruyter and an extensive photo documentation of the exhibition it will also contain a “source book” (texts: Inke Arns, Lara Both) that systematically breaks down the image sources of IRWIN’s works and situates them in their (art-)historical context.
