Dortmunder U | Level 3
On 11 and 12 May 2024, the Kulturmeile Dortmund invites you to explore cultural institutions in Dortmund‘s city centre. A varied programme for young and old will take place on both days between 12:00 and 18:00.
At HMKV you can take part in the following programme items:
Short guided tours through the HMKV exhibition The Paradise Machine
HMKV in the Dortmunder U, level 3
Every hour on the hour: 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 & 17:00, approx. 30 minutes each.
Find out more about the dys- and utopian paradise worlds and architectures in Niklas Goldbach's photography and video works. In the HMKV exhibition, they are presented amidst holiday bungalows and palm trees.

HMKV at Dortmunder U, level 3, workshop room
12:30 & 15:30, approx. 60 min.
In Niklas Goldbach's works, dys- and utopian paradise worlds and architectures lie close together. We will use our own smartphones to search for exciting motifs in the exhibition and around the Dortmunder U. Each participant will then develop a selected motif using the cyanotype (blueprint) technique. We recommend taking part in the short guided tour at 12:00 or 15:00 and then attending the workshop. Limited number of participants, no registration.
