Exclusive offer for teenagers & adults: Origami workshop Paper Pattern

HMKV at the Dortmunder U | Ebene 3

In this workshop, participants have the opportunity to learn the complex folding techniques of origami. Through the interplay of algorithms, repetitions and pattern formation, two- or three-dimensional objects are created from paper. By combining different folding patterns and coloured papers, individual modules can be created that can be put together to form larger, fascinating patterns.

The works in the exhibition Holding Pattern - Waiting Loops and Other Loops, which deal with questions about (movement) patterns, rituals, rhythms and algorithms that determine our lives and characterise the modern world, provide inspiration for the workshop.

The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced participants.

For young people and adults. Registration at vermittlung@hmkv.de
